Patient compliance in taking medication regularly to completion is one of the factors that determine success in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. Indonesia in 2018 there were 431,876 cases of tuberculosis and 4,297 cases in Jambi Province, while in Merangin Regency there were 550 cases and in 2019 444 cases. Pematang Kandis Public Health Center in 2018, it was known that 35 people were treated for pulmonary tuberculosis and in 2019 there were 60 suspects with 29 pulmonary tuberculosis patients. This research was a quantitative analytic study with a cross sectional design. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and adherence to pulmonary tuberculosis drug use in outpatients at Pematang Kandis Public Health Center in 2019. The population and sample in this study were 35 respondents. It was found that of 35 respondents, it was known that there were 85.7% of respondents obeying and 25 (71.4%) positive family support. Based on the chi-square test, it was found that there was a relationship between family support (X2count = 4.91) and adherence to pulmonary tuberculosis drug use. There was a relationship between family support and adherence to pulmonary tuberculosis drug use in outpatients. It is hoped that it will increase efforts to motivate patients to take tuberculosis drugs regularly and take drugs as recommended so that they can recover well.
