Background: World Health Organization (WHO), that the house is a physical structure or building
for shelter, where the environment is useful for physical and spiritual health and social conditions are
good for the health of families and individuals (Who Commission on Health and Environment, 2001
in Riana, Youngest, 2008). Research Methods: the type and design of the research carried out is a
quantitative type using a survey method, with a cross sectional approach. This research was carried
out in Sungai Putih village, the working area of the West Bangko Public Health Center. This research
was carried out on February 18-26 in Sungai Putih village, the working area of the West Bangko
Public Health Center. Population is the whole object of research or the object under study. The
population of this study is the head of the family in Sungai Putih vallage, the working area of the
West Bangko Public Health Center in 2021, amounting to 839 families. Yhe way the sample is taken
is by the researcher using a systematic random sampling technique or systematically random is to
divide the number or members of the population by the estimated number of samples desired. Result:
There is a relationship between knowledge and ownership of healthy latrines (X2 count (36,706
>X2 table 5,991, there is a relationship between economic status and healthy home ownership with
the value of (X2 count (4,532 >X2 table 3,841, there is a relationship between attitude and healthy
home ownership with the value of (X2 count 16,618 >X2 table 5,991 in Sungai Putih village the
working area of the West Bangko Public Health Center. Conclusion: There is a significant
relationship between knowledge, economic status, attitude abd ownership of health latrines. It is
recommended that this research be input for the West Bangko Health Center for Environmental
Health Program holders in providing counseling that is clear and understood by the community
